We work to promote responsible and sustainable ways of living. By supporting concrete actions with strong educational and environmental impact, we help raise awareness among communities and public authorities about the planetary challenges linked to human activities.
True to the values of the Primat Family and mindful of its impact on society, the Foundation has chosen to focus on the major ethical challenges posed by technological and environmental change affecting humanity and the living world. In a world undergoing profound transformation, the Foundation places the transmission of ancient and contemporary knowledge at the heart of its mission, working to foster critical, creative and collaborative thinking from an early age — with the aim of strengthening individual discernment and encouraging more responsible societal choices and behaviours.
To achieve its goals, the Foundation encourages scientists, philosophers, artists and organisations to speak out, acting at the heart of competent organisations in Europe, with a particular interest in France and Switzerland, as well as internationally for certain cross-cutting initiatives.

The Fondation Didier et Martine Primat also administers 6 hosted funds whose rules are compatible with its general objectives. These 6 funds are provided with additional resources by their founders, who actively participate in guiding their conduct in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
