Neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), affect millions of people worldwide, and their prevalence continues to rise with the aging population. To date, no curative treatment exists, and the biological mechanisms underlying these diseases remain largely unknown, making their understanding a major scientific and medical challenge.
Advance fundamental research on neurodegenerative diseases.
Support a PhD research project conducted within the team “Causes of ALS and mechanisms of motor neuron degeneration.”
Founded in 2010, Paris Brain Institute is a leading scientific and medical research center dedicated to the study of the brain and the discovery of new treatments for diseases of the nervous system.
