Context
Children suffering from serious illnesses face a challenging journey that affects their quality of life and self-esteem. The hospital environment, by its restrictive nature, offers little room for creativity and emotional expression—both of which are essential to a child’s well-being.
Objectives
Offer hospitalized or homebound children joyful and colorful moments through silk painting, allowing them to escape, feel valued, and reconnect with the joy of creating.
Actions
- Multiple weekly visits to hospitals in Sion, CHUV in Lausanne, HUG in Geneva, and to children’s homes
- Children are free to choose the medium for their artwork: scarf, painting, cushion, bag, etc.
- Children may choose to keep or gift their finished artwork.
