Numerous scientific studies consider the Mediterranean to be the most polluted sea in the world. Since its creation, BeMed has been committed to supporting efforts to combat plastic pollution, notably through its Call for Micro-Initiatives. To strengthen the effectiveness and reach of the projects it supports, BeMed strives to facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices within the network of stakeholders it accompanies.
