In the face of accelerating climate change, raising awareness among younger generations has become a critical challenge. Yet, educational tools that make these issues tangible and accessible remain insufficient in many schools.

OBJECTIveS


  • Raise awareness among students aged 14 to 19 about the challenges of climate change
  • Enable the calculation of individual, class, and school-wide carbon footprints
  • Encourage action by empowering students to become climate protectors
  • Provide schools with a comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions report

ACTIONS


  • Collect individual data with the support of an ecoLive facilitator
  • Analyze results at the class and school levels
  • Design and implement a concrete climate protection project (mobility, food, energy, waste)
  • Participate in a regional competition highlighting the most impactful projects

Partner

ecoLive association

Founded in January 2017, ecoLive is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable development and environmental stewardship. Its mission is to inspire individuals, businesses, and institutions to adopt more sustainable lifestyles and practices, helping to address climate challenges and protect natural resources.

To achieve this, ecoLive designs educational programmes and tools, organises events and community initiatives, and develops learning resources for schools and training centres. Through its activities, the organisation encourages the integration of sustainability principles across the entire life cycle of products and services, from design and production to consumption and end-of-life management, while taking into account environmental, social, and economic considerations.
